The Oklahoma Youth Symphony (OYS) is a fully instrumented high school honors orchestra,
generally for students in grades 9 through 12. Auditions are scheduled several times a year.

The season general consists of five (5) concerts and special performance opportunities as
they arise.
Conductor
Douglas P. Dorste, Director of Orchestra Studies at Oklahoma State University, serves as both
the conductor for the OYS and the Oklahoma Youth Symphonies
